Zakiya Halima Oshun Williams is a gifted and creative lady. Her name, "Zakiya," means intelligent one. "Halima" represents a divine gentleness. "Oshun" means, in native tongue, daughter of God. Zakiya is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Zakiya has appeared in plays such as Fred Hammond's "Been There, Done That," "Lord, Why Do I Keep Choosing The Wrong Man?" and movies such as "Chocolate City." During the time she spends on the road traveling and acting, she writes about various situations she has experienced and the people closest to her. She has a very strong message of motivation, self-worth and hope that the world must hear!
